Very nice, Petra. I like the way you elongated the face, giving it your unique mark. It reminds me of the beautiful and graceful Chinese Dynasty horse paintings.
Artist Statement.
I believe in the ability to create with love, passion and a sense of belonging, the art i create is about the desire to portray images which inspired me. At times it may be a visual object, a dream, an emotion, animals , or a person.
The existence of my spiritual connection provides me with a will, to paint ,on a personal level and lends statements of myself to my paintings and sculptures
My work is inspired by contrast ,the unexpected, the opposite and features contemporary surreal and illusionistic themes. Each project i envision has various experimental phases. Perspective and techniques vary during my work process to achieve a desired effect or mood. The original sketches and symbolic data remains in my diary as my reference and manifesto
Supports such as papers, canvas, or boards are treated beforehand as required for preservation. I use Artist quality materials for all medias i work in
